Biography
Attorney Charles E. Krausche II has been practicing law for 11 years. He received his B.S. from the University of Florida at Gainesville and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami, where he graduated with honors. His work spans the public and private sectors, and he now spends the majority of his time handling civil and commercial litigation, landlord-tenant law and tort and real property related matters. Mr. Krausche joined our firm in 2001. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Krausche clerked for an 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida judge, where he researched legal issues for the criminal court bench and civil appellate panel. In addition, Mr. Krausche worked with the felony division of the Dade County Public Defender’s Office, where he represented indigent clients, conducted numerous depositions and court appearances, motion arguments and felony jury trials. Mr. Krausche also worked with the Florida law firm of Freidin & Brown, LLP, concentrating on tort litigation, personal injury, property damage and nursing home care issues. Subsequently, Mr. Krausche went on to work with the New Jersey civil litigation firm of Frohling Hudak & Pellegrino, where he represented clients involving property damage, catastrophic fires and tort claims. Since joining our firm, Mr. Krausche's practice has focused primarily on civil and commercial litigation, landlord-tenant, and tort- and real property-related matters. Mr. Krausche represents both landlords and tenants in Housing and Supreme Courts, in the appellate courts, and in the state and city housing agencies and administrative tribunals. Among Mr. Krausche’s landlord clients are not-for-profit supportive housing providers and low-income housing cooperatives, as well as small and large private owners. Among Mr. Krausche’s tenant clients are both tenants associations and individual tenants. Mr. Krausche earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Miami School of Law in 1999 and holds a B.A. from the University of Florida, which he completed in 1995. He was admitted to the bar in New York in 2000, Florida in 2001, and New Jersey in 2002. Additionally, Mr. Krausche is authorized to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the District of New Jersey. He is professionally affiliated with the New York State Bar Association's Real Property Law Section and the New York County Lawyers Association.
