Thomas P. Vandenabeele practices complex commercial litigation with a focus on asset recovery,  fraud, money laundering, and discovery in aid of foreign proceedings. He has successfully handled numerous multi-jurisdictional disputes, including matters involving proceedings in France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the U.A.E., England and Wales, the British Virgin Islands, Canada,  Argentina, Brazil, Hong Kong, Singapore and other jurisdictions. Mr. Vandenabeele was one of the key members of the legal team that secured a $264 million judgment in a high-profile fraud case in favor of an instrumentality of the French government.

Mr. Vandenabeele frequently represents French businesses and individuals in commercial disputes in New York. He has extensive experience in obtaining recognition and enforcement of foreign money judgments and seeking cross-border discovery in New York in support of foreign legal proceedings.

Mr. Vandenabeele is an adjunct professor at Fordham University School of Law and a Visiting Professor at EDHEC Business School, Lille, France. He frequently lectures on international litigation topics.
